Most meaningful oyster: Small sized, deep cupped, sweet, but not to sweet Gigas with lots of meat
Favorite oyster to shuck: Small sized, well tumbled Gigas
Dream oyster destination: Washington, USA due to the high variety of available oysters there.
Proudest oyster accomplishments to date: In one of my tastings in Berlin, a French woman once said "Oh well, this oyster has been better shucked than any other oyster I have seen and eaten in France!" Whether true or not, it sounded quite good :-)
Favorite thing about being an OMG member: Gaining in-depth & practical knowledge about oysters / the oyster-industry apart from what I already know from my European perspective (I am based in Hamburg).
