Most meaningful oyster: Would have to say Sylt Royal, because I live where it grows.

Favorite oyster to shuck: Any Gigas in hand shucking out in the wild straight from the ocean.

Dream oyster destination: Would like to taste Kumamotos & unpasteurized Sake in Japan.

Proudest oyster accomplishments to date: Lucky to have tasted Bluff Oyster in New Zealand and Knysna oysters in South Africa.

However, we did a sailing trip from Antwerps/Belgium to Porto/Portugal and had oysters every day at the local fish markets. Tasting the difference of all the oysters along the European Atlantic coast was amazing.

Favorite thing about being an OMG member: Learning more and meeting other oyster enthusiasts.
